CoinProwl ("we," "our," or "us") operates the CoinProwl mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored securely using encryption).

Location Data: CoinProwl is a GPS-based game. We collect your real-time location data while you have an active game session. This includes foreground and background location tracking to keep your position updated on the game map. Your location is visible to other players on the map during active sessions.

Transaction Data: We record in-app purchases, game session activity, attack/defense interactions, and coin balances.

Device Information: We may collect device identifiers, push notification tokens, and basic device information to provide app functionality and send notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and provide the CoinProwl game experience
• To display your position on the game map to other players
• To process in-app purchases and coin redemptions
• To send push notifications about game events (attacks, eliminations)
• To verify your email address and secure your account
• To detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and GPS spoofing
• To improve and maintain the App

3. Location Data

Location tracking is essential to CoinProwl's gameplay. When you have an active game session:

• Your GPS location is shared with other players on the game map
• Location updates occur in both the foreground and background while your session is active
• You can end your session at any time to stop location sharing
• When you do not have an active session, your location is not tracked or shared

You can disable background location tracking through your device settings at any time, though this may affect gameplay.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Payment Processors: PayPal/Venmo for coin redemptions (we share your payment email/phone only for payout processing)
• Other Players: Your username and approximate location are visible on the game map during active sessions
• Service Providers: Infrastructure and hosting providers necessary to operate the App
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, secure token-based authentication, and HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Location data from game sessions is retained for gameplay purposes (attack history, statistics). You may request account deletion at any time through the App's Profile settings.

7. Children's Privacy

CoinProwl is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You may:

• Access and update your account information through the App
• Delete your account and associated data through the App's Profile settings
• Disable location tracking through your device settings
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
